Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position serves under the direction of the Buildings Foreman. The primary duties of the position include: daily bank deposit deliveries, delivery of resident notifications, errands for the Public Works Department, and assist with general facility and building maintenance.
Required Skills/Education/Experience: The requirements for the position include: possession of a Class D Driver’s License; high school diploma or GED; and sufficient knowledge to perform the duties listed in the essential duties and responsibilities section of the Job Description. Previous experience in a Public Works Department or local government is preferred.
Hours and Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $19.49 to $24.97. This position is classified as a part-time, non-exempt, non-union position. All applicants must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours each week, but no more than 29 hours per week. Normal working hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., some flexibility may be available. The normal operating hours for the Department is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The benefits available to the position include a pension through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), participation in the Village’s flexible spending account program, and deferred compensation offerings.
