The Village of Lincolnwood, Illinois (13,463 – 2020 census) is seeking a responsible and energetic individual to assist the Finance Department to serve as a Part-Time Account Clerk. The Account Clerk serves in a strong customer service role to assist residents and the public and processes payments for services provided by the Village. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Required Skills/Education/Experience A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required with one to two years of clerical or data entry experience. Experience working for a Village or Finance Department is preferred. The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics and abilities: ability to deal with the public tactfully and courteously, ability to use a variety of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Springbrook, LAMA, and Aclara. The successful candidate will have the ability to proofread, photocopy, collate, sort, file, and prepare documents for mailing. The pay range for this position is $26.37 to $33.79 per hour. It is a part-time role with a maximum of 29 hours per week. The position requires onsite work five days a week, Monday through Friday, during operating hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in scheduling may be available.
